Abstract:

Develop a greater understanding among students of the history and culture of Vietnam. This interesting program conveys the country's emphasis on education, considers the importance of markets and villages, and discusses the influences of Chinese and Western culture. Straight forward and enlightening, the program shows students different sides of Vietnam, including people and places that have changed little over hundreds of years.
