Abstract:

Martin Sheen narrates this documentary program that visits three countries where the influence of the international banking community has resulted in diminished living conditions--Ghana, a "model of success" for Westerners that can no longer offer health benefits for its people; Brazil, where poor people search garbage dumps for food instead of farming their own land as they used to; and the Philippines, where grassroots groups fight unfair debt repayment schemes. An argument for a major change in world monetary policies.
