Abstract:

Includes two previously unreleased episodes. The Beast from 20 fathoms: This episode was created during the 1963 television run. The show's creator was unhappy with the results and ordered the episode destroyed. However, a copy had already been sent to NBC for English dubbing. This is the lost episode. The story concerns a group of jewel thieves who meet an untimely end near Lake Foggybottom. Astro Boy is called in to stop the mysterious meat eaters that inhabit the lake. The Snow Lion: An unearthly snow is falling over the world, which robs machines of their energy. Astro Boy discovers the beginnings of a Rigelian invasion and their weapon, Rex, a lion also composed of energy absorbing material.
