Abstract:

Bakrawallahs are nomadic goat herders who live in the beautiful Himalayan peaks of Kashmir. Filming of a wedding in a remote valley and ensuing events form the highlights of this fascinating film. This video is part 4 of the 7 part series "JOURNEY INTO THE HIMALAYAS" In this video series a team led by Keith Adam spent five months in the Himalayas, filming from Kashmir in the west to the remote kingdom of Bhutan In the east. It is the first time that a film crew has ever filmed so extensively in this area, capturing the scenery, culture and lifestyle of the people.
