Abstract:

This previously closed and mysterious kingdom nestles in the folds of the Great Himalayas, One of Bhutan’s greatest problems is how to open its borders to the world without suffering the tourist invasion which has occurred in Nepal. This video is part 2 of the 7 part series "JOURNEY INTO THE HIMALAYAS" In this video series a team led by Keith Adam spent five months in the Himalayas, filming from Kashmir in the west to the remote kingdom of Bhutan In the east. It is the first time that a film crew has ever filmed so extensively in this area, capturing the scenery, culture and lifestyle of the people.
