Abstract:

Three trips to treasure! Magnificent Journeys is a beautifully produced series filmed on location around the world's most lush and unique spots. Each one-hour segment magically transports you to places and people you might never see in your lifetime. "From Venice to the Nile" begins on the famed Orient Express, travels to the ancient city of Pompeii and ends in the ancient temple of Luxor. "From Amazon to the Arctic" includes a dog sled expedition in Alaska, a canoe trip into the rain forest with a Cofani Indian family and a horseback journey into the remote interior of the Ute Mountain Indian Reservation. "From Outback to Shangri-La" takes you to the heights of the Himalayas, on a walkabout to Australia's outback, canoeing in the rain forest of Malaysia and on down the Li River into the misty peaks and valleys of Guilin.
