This video starts with the arts of Japan's prehistoric cultures, but also with a hint at their daily life; clothing, metal weapons, leather crafts, and domesticated animals. We then see some the "traditional" arts that developed, alongside the imported religions of Buddhism ad their own religion of Shintoism...mostly to teach about those religions and provide enjoyment to the ruling class.
