Abstract:

"This program chronicles the lives of a Native American family which has recently moved from a reservation to the city, and a family from Laos, who recently immigrated to the same city. For both families integrating one's culture can be a trying and difficult process. Through their honesty and candor, the families explain not only what is distinctive about their own cultures, but how they are working to integrate these differences with their new lives in an urban environment far removed from their homelands."
