Abstract:

"Explore the traditional legal system of China, along with the evolution and development of the criminal system into what it is today. Discussions cover the ambivalent attitude of the Chinese towards a codified law, which is based on their beliefs in Confucianism, and the eventual evolution of their detailed code of law that now serves as a model for other East Asian countries."
